A former gold mine with its tunnels and tracks still mostly intact. You can walk through its dark tunnels or bike around the many walks on this park.
A local favorite and a hidden gem to outsiders, this gorge is breathtaking. There are many walking and biking tracks in and around the gorge. A favorite is the dark tunnel walk. Bring a headlight and some boots on rainy days to navigate the almost black tunnels. There are windows along the way to look down on the river and the surrounding landscape. The biking tracks are just as good with a variety of effort levels and age. Or just sit on the many rocks that lie on the river and watch the cold water pass by. It's also a great spot to practice skipping rocks on.
